Congregation Apparel is a Midwest-based screen printing and embroidery company with a bold mission: to bring quality craftsmanship and intention back to the apparel industry. Every detail reinforces the idea that Congregation isn’t just a name—it’s a movement.
The logo
The logotype utilizes a distressed, all-caps sans-serif font that blends industrial grit with a warm, community-driven vibe. The texture of the letters lends itself to a hand-crafted, vintage feel (think weathered wood or stamped metal) adding authenticity and a nod to traditional printing techniques. Overall, the distressed typography and heritage markers suggest durability and legacy, while the clean execution ensures broad appeal across modern markets.
The Eagle
This emblem stands as the theological and visual centerpiece of the Congregation Apparel brand. Inspired by biblical motifs and rendered with modern craftsmanship, it embodies the brand’s foundational values: faith, victory, and creative purpose.
The core visual reference—an eagle in command—draws heavily from verses such as:
Proverbs 30:19 – “The way of an eagle in the sky…”
Isaiah 40:31 – “They shall mount up with wings like eagles…”
In Scripture, the eagle is a symbol of strength, elevation, and divine perspective. In this mark, it is reimagined as a victorious herald—anchored in tradition, but designed as a clean, modern silhouette with just the right amount of grit.
This mark is more than iconography—it’s visual theology. It’s a banner of belief worn across cotton and ink. It ties faith to form and craft to creed, reminding wearers not only where they’re from, but what they stand for. Whether it’s emblazoned across a hoodie, printed on the inside of a collar, or stamped into a patch, this emblem invites the wearer to carry truth boldly—and beautifully—into the world.
Badges
Designing badges is probably my favorite part of any branding project because they help bring modularity and flexibility to any identity system. The ones we designed above for Congregation Apparel vary in tone—from bold minimalism to vintage seals while still reinforcing the spirit of the main logotype. Perfect for any type of apparel or accessory, as well as social media profile pictures.
